Taste Addison ● May 9 - 11
Get ready for a tasty treat when you come to Taste Addison, North Texas’ leading food and music festival, May 11-13 at Addison Circle Park. The festival is jam-packed with food, music and activities. This year’s event showcases a wide range of musical talents including Blues Traveler, Los Lonely Boys, Daughtry, Lifehouse, East Village Opera Company, and Firefall. Sample mouthwatering specialties from more than 50 Addison restaurants and browse through the unique arts and crafts area. Test your aim in Paintball Alley or go big on the quad bungee jump.

Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival ● May 16- 18
The Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival is an award-winning eclectic arts and music festival featuring local, regional and national acts performing on multiple outdoor/indoor stages. 2008 acts include: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, America, Bret Michaels Rock of Love Tour, The Guess Who, Jerry Jeff Walker, Everclear, Kathy Mattea, Roger Creager, Loverboy, Blue Oyster Cult, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Eve 6, Firehouse, Butch Hancock, Django Walker Band, Quietdrive, No Justice, Slaid Cleaves, Steve Fromholz, Jon Vezner, Le Freak, Candy Coburn, and Chris Smithers. More acts TBA. In addition, Wildflower! is home to one of the state's top Singer/Songwriter contests and stage. Our festival programming also features the Acoustic Café, the family-friendly Kidz Korner, the Taste of Texas Food Garden, the Marketplace showcasing artisans and exhibitors, strolling buskers and acrobats, and the Wild Ride - a bike ride to benefit cancer research. Also in 2008 is Paramount's Laser Spectacular featuring the music of Pink Floyd light shows throughout the festival weekend!
